Polurrian Rocks 45 – The cleft in the cliff midway along the beach at Polurrian Cove in Cornwall that marks the Lizard Boundary Fault Line.

  1. Not so interesting visually but it represents a line of crushed and heat-altered rocks that extends right across the Lizard Peninsula, marking the start of an unusual area to the south where rocks from deep in the earth’s mantle have been brought to the surface.
