Volcanic Tuff Louisbourg Lighthouse 12 – Coastal exposure of volcanic tuff rocks near Louisbourg Lighthouse in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, showing the subtle colour banding resulting from separate eruption events. The ash of which the rocks are composed was originally laid down in horizontal layers but over time earth movements have brought them to a vertical orientation.
