I do a lot of print making Jessica, and often play around with photos that I have taken myself to produce images for nature prints. I love some of the effects you are getting too, and wonder whether you use Photoshop to edit your pictures. I looked into learning how to use it recently, but it looked incredibly complicated, so I would welcome any hints on tools to use if you would be prepared to share them. Best wishes, Jane O’Connor (Poole)

Hello, Jane. I use Corel PaintShop Pro X9 (64-bit) to edit my photographs. I haven’t got to grips with a lot of the techniques available on the programme yet – but in the Edit window you can achieve a lot of interesting transformations using combinations of (more or less) instant tools in the Image, Adjust, and Effect folders. There is a Learning Centre too with videos and tutorials of how to use the programme.

Brilliant! Thank you Jessica. I am not the most proficient with technology – I learn like many adults – on a need-to-do basis! I will give it a try.
