Weymouth Beach Restoration 9 – Weymouth Beach in the process of receiving a Spring makeover before the new season’s influx of visitors who want to enjoy lots of sunbathing and sand castles. Mechanical diggers and earth-moving machinery are redistributing long lines of fresh clean imported sand across the shore, 17th March 2017

  1. Been to weymouth today with my grand daughter took her on the beach it was a absolute pleasure the sand is bootiful soft and clean and lovely like being abroad.. made all the difference best english beach id been to for years well done

  2. Glad you had such a lovely day on the beach with your grand daughter, Pauline. I am sure that Weymouth Council will be pleased that their efforts are being rewarded. The sand they used may in fact come from somewhere abroad – I don’t know.
