Dunquin Harbour Dingle 9 – View looking down from the zig-zag path to the cliffs and beach at Dunquin Harbour, Dingle, Ireland, where yellow Silurian siltstones of the Drom Point Formation belonging to the marine Dunquin Group meet the sandstones and mudstones of the mostly red and green terrestrial Silurian/Devonian Dingle Group rocks. Hard bands of more resistant rock strata project seawards at intervals along the cliff face.
