I think this might be Coptis but a good bog species just the same.

Thank you for letting me know. I’ll check it out. I wasn’t certain but it did look like the sundew flower on the interpretation boards so I just went with that. I haven’t got any Nova Scotia flower guides to identify it properly.

There’s a book titled “Wetland Plants of Ontario” that might have pictures of both Coptis and sundew flowers. My copy is somewhere around here and if I find it I’ll check.
