Belemnites at Seatown 2 – The cliff strata on the western shore at Seatown in Dorset, England, are often obscured by minor mudslides and landslips of the Green Ammonite Member at the top of the Charmouth Mudstone Formation, and the Dyrham Formation rocks above. This image shows the point at which a small anticlinal flexure brings the belemnite fossil bearing strata to the surface.
