Whiteford Point Pebbles 10 – Pebbles at Whiteford Point, Gower, South Wales. Many of the pebbles are thought to have been derived from a deposit of material from a melting ice sheet in the Devensian Period.

  1. I just love pebbles, their variety in colour, pattern, texture, wear and composition. Each beach has its characteristic assortment of types, and they always look great when wet or under water.
