  1. Well, there are a lot of fossils but they are not the sort that weather out of the rock, or can be removed with a hammer and chisel. They are mostly all broken up fragments, or churned up trace fossils (like the ancient burrows of crabs and worms formed before the rock hardened). So it is an interesting place to find and photograph fragmentary fossils rather than to collect them.
