005 Out on the Causeway – Close to the Rhossili headland, the upstanding rock layers of the Worms Head Causeway spread out like the edges of pages in a book, pointing upwards and leaning towards the open sea. Each layer or stratum of rock has its own characteristics even though in this landward location it is all technically Black Rock Limestone Subgroup.
