Rocks & Pools at Burry Holms 36 – Limpet shell completely covered by acorn barnacles. The barnacles almost totally encrust the surrounding rock except for a small space around the limpet and it is difficult to imagine how the limpet survives if it can only graze the algal film on this limited area.
