Rocks & Pools at Burry Holms 17 – Seashore creatures clinging to eroded limestone rocks at Burry Holms. The large pale circular features are the calcareous basal plates of large acorn barnacles Balanus perforatus which were knocked off the rocks in winter storms. Rhossili bay, Gower, south Wales.
