Evening Tide at Rhossili 6

Either a Barrel Jellyfish or an unusually large Compass Jellyfish

Evening Tide at Rhossili 6 – Large stranded jellyfish brought in by the tide at Rhossili Beach, 2017 hours 28th July 2014, on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. Originally thought to be Rhizostoma octopus because of its size but later thought to be perhaps a very large specimen of Chrysaora hysoscella because of apparent dark brown radiating lines just visible on the part-concealed umbrella surface.
