May Walk to Mewslade Bay 11

View looking down the limestone scree-clad slopes of Mewslade valley to the sea

May Walk to Mewslade Bay 11 – The shape of the steep-sided dry valley at Mewslade is in part due to a geological fault line and in part due to quarrying activities in times past. The loose limestone scree results from periglacial activities. Gower Peninsula in South Wales.
