Flagstones & Fossils at Moher 13 – Liscannor flags made of local Namurian siltstone showing trace fossils called Olivellites made by ancient sea creatures, form the treads of stone steps at the Cliffs of Moher on the west coast of Ireland in County Clare. The stone risers of the same steps are composed of Carboniferous limestone from the Burren with numerous coral and brachiopod fossils.
